About David
David is a co-founder at Sonic and co-leads our engineering work streams. He specializes in end-to-end software engineering and conceptualization of large-scale software solutions. He started out as an iOS engineer and was quickly recognized by Apple to become a WWDC scholar.
Among David's largest engineering projects is co-leading the Sameday Health customer portal that allowed tens of thousands of bookings per day, building the Mapify iOS application, and leading Enter’s engineering team. At Sameday, he took ownership of the booking flow technology, which processed millions of healthcare product bookings. At Mapify, his contributions on the iOS side had the app featured by Apple multiple times on the global App Store.
Personally, David is an avid traveler and often consulted as the expert frequent traveler on the Sonic team. He spends his free time doing lots of sports, like cycling, skiing, surfing, or going to the gym. When he is not active, he is either playing chess or cooking something from Ottolenghi.
